To date, the hardest task in getting Word Oysters magazine off the ground has been publicising it: letting the 45,000 registered homeschoolers Australia-wide know that they can publish their writing in a public forum that values and supports them and their work!

I’m currently looking for any other homeschooling parents or teens who are able to support me in spreading the word about Word Oysters. Whether it’s sharing the magazine among family, friends, or your local homeschool community, encouraging your own and friends’ kids to submit their writing for publication, or sharing some of your technical know-how with me to help me understand how to better market and publicise the magazine, I welcome ANYTHING you can offer. Perhaps you have your own audience for a home education group, service, or organisation and would be able to share Word Oysters within that wider community? Parnterships and mutual support opportunities are also most welcome.
