Swish! Swish!
A gentle breeze
Carried over bush and trees.
Sniff! Sniff!
What’s that smell?
On sweet pollen my nose dwells!
Shhhhhh …
CRASH! SMASH! POUR! ROAR!
Water rushing over floor!
Pitter, patter-drip, drop
Silver trickling over rock.
A crystal bath, a diver’s realm,
A natural place for fish to helm.
Scuffle! Chirp!
Under, over, in the trees
Critters happy gambling free
Small and furry
Huge and hairy
Fluttering, bouncing
Chirping, pouncing.
WhoooooSH!
A burst of hue, from deep sea blue
To sparkling emerald, silver too!
And don’t forget ten thousand shades
Of brown there are in woods these days!
The forest: cool, green and charming
Quiet, peaceful, very calming.
