Once you’ve emailed your work to the editor at wordoyster@protonmail.com you will receive an email to let you know it’s arrived safely.

Your work will then be edited and prepared for publication in the next issue of Word Oysters magazine. Illustrations or artwork may be used to enhance the visual presentation of your writing. If you’ve provided your own artwork, this will be used.

Editing and preparing a new issue of the magazine takes time and can span several months. During this period, the editor may contact you again by email if further information is needed or if any details need to be confirmed.

If you’d like individual editorial feedback on your work, you are welcome to contact the editor at wordoyster@protonmail to request this.

You’ll be notified by email when your work is published. Alongside its growing offerings of writing resources and guides, each issue of the magazine also includes an editor’s introduction, which will mention and briefly discuss your work. It’s definitlely worth a read.
